Sheet laser cutting
Sheet laser cutting
The flat parts of your assemblies, laser-cut and delivered with your tubes: base plates, gussets, flanges, brackets, perforated panels.

What we cut in sheet
| Material | Typical thickness |
|---|---|
| Mild steel | Up to 1/2 in |
| Stainless steel | Up to 1/4 in |
| Aluminum | Up to 1/4 in |
| Brass and copper | Up to 1/8 in, on evaluation |
| Sheet size | 4 ft × 8 ft standard; other sizes on request |
| Contour tolerance | ± 0.2 mm (± 0.008 in) |
Sheet cutting serves your tube assemblies first: the plate that closes the HSS, the gusset that stiffens the corner, the flange that bolts to the floor.
It also stands alone, for brackets, panels and flat parts produced in series.
Typical parts
Base and anchor plates
Cut with laser-positioned bolt holes. Ready to weld to the end of the post or upright.
Gussets and stiffeners
Identical triangles and angles from lot to lot, to stiffen frames without oversizing the tube.
Flanges and brackets
Flat parts with holes, slots and internal cut-outs, then bent if the drawing calls for it.
Perforated panels and grilles
Repeated laser patterns: round perforations, slots, decorative or ventilation cut-outs.
How to prepare your files
- DXF or DWG at 1:1 scale, one part per file or one file per thickness.
- STEP or 3D file if the part is bent: we make the flat pattern.
- State the material, thickness, quantity and finish on the purchase order or in the email.
- A dimensioned sketch works too. Our draftspeople model it, with a little extra drafting time.
Bending, welding and finishing
A flat part becomes a bent bracket, coordinated with our bending partner. A gusset gets welded to your frame in our shop. Everything goes to powder coating as one lot.
You receive the finished assembly. You do not have to find a sheet shop and a tube shop that agree on tolerances.
Tube and sheet on the same purchase order: that is the simplest way to guarantee the two fit.
Lead times and quantities
- Quote in under 48 h from complete files, assumptions and exclusions included.
- Typical production lead time: 1 to 2 weeks for flat parts, 2 weeks with bending or finishing.
- Small runs and one-off parts accepted from $100. Price per quantity bracket beyond that.
